Natural eyeshadow look:

Step1:Choose a neutral shade and its corresponding darker shade:  hold your brush in your dominating hand and dip it in a neutral shade eyeshadow (one that compliments your skin tone), blow the excess shadow off. Apply this neutral shade all over the eyelid in a back and forth motion following your lash line towards the eyebrow. This is called your base shade.

Now, dip your brush in a darker eyeshadow (a contrasting shade to the base color) and apply it on the outer corner of the eyelid following back and forth from the end portion of the lash line towards the middle of your eyelid.

Step2: Apply mascara and eyeliner: Finish your look by applying a coat of mascara to your lashes and line your eyes by applying eyeliner very close and following the lash line.

Repeat the steps on the other eye and make sure both the eyeshadows look similar to each other.

With a little practice on simpler looks with neutral shades, you are all set to create more dramatic, intense, and colorful looks.

Simple smokey eye look:

Step1:Choose a darker shade eyeshadow and its corresponding lighter shade-  dip your brush in a darker eyeshadow (dark brown or dark grey) tap the brush to blow the excess powder off and move back and forth on the eyelid.

Now dip your brush in a slight contrast shade (medium brown or a medium grey) and move from the outer corner to the center of the lid along the lash line and blend it in the earlier applied darker shade.

Use a dense brush to blend both shades as it gives precise pigment and blend the eyeshadows well.

Step2: Apply mascara and eyeliner– coat your lashes with mascara and apply eyeliner along your lashline extending slightly towards the eyebrow arch to create a wing.

Repeat the process on the other eye and you are good to rock your smokey eye look for your nighttime events.
